London People! (And anyone else who can help :D) [May. 15th, 2007|02:40 am]

Can anyone tell me how good the public transport links (especially the Tube) are from Wembley stadium? The reason I ask is we're going to see Muse (:D!!!!!!) next month and I'm finally sorting a hotel out, only I've no fucking clue if we'll be able to get back to the hotel with any degree of ease. The hotel I'm looking at is in Camden Lock, BTW.

Opinions, suggestions and general Muse-related squeeing all welcome.

Also if you're going, plz comment and we'll see about drinks on the day :)

trains from Wembley are a pain because it's so out of the way... but you'll be needing the Metropolitan Line to Wembley Park, and it's easily signposted from there and in walking distance.
Assuming you're able to get back in time with the tube, Camden Town's on the Northern Line...

I hope there are regular trains then, really don't want to have to grab a cab D:

Are you not going? I'm sure you said somewhere you were.

The tube is pretty regular. You'll not be waiting longer than 10 minutes.
and I'm not going...Chris and I saw them last year, but not this time.

wembley park has just been refurbed. on the way back from the gig get a metropolitan line train to kings cross; you can get the northern line from there. the tube runs to about 12:30-1am so you'll be all right.

If you do get stuck there's a phone number on each bus stop and they can give you route instructions. The tube should be fine though. :o)
